COME RAGGIUNGERCI:
IN AUTO
da nord
Raggiungere Livorno attraverso le
autostrade A12 da Genova o A11 da Firenze e proseguire in autostrada
vino a Rosignano M.mo. Qui l'autostrada finisce, quindi passare la barriera
e proseguire verso sud in direzione Roma attraverso la SS1 Aurelia ed
uscire in a Venturina. Immettersi, quindi sulla vecchia SS1 Aurelia
in direzione sud seguendo le indicazioni per Follonica, a 3,5 km si
incontra il bivio per Casalappi (all'angolo si trova l'"Enoteca
da Alcide"). Dopo 800 mt circa, sulla destra si trova un piccolo
ponticello. Oltrepassato questo dopo circa 500 mt sulla sinistra si
trova il CASALE ACQUAVIVA.
da sud
Raggiungere Grosseto attraverso la SS1 Aurelia e proseguire
su questa. Uscendo a Riotorto immettersi sulla vecchia SS1 Aurelia in
direzione nord. Dopo circa 3,5 km si incontra il bivio per Casalappi
(all'angolo si trova l'"Enoteca da Alcide"). Dopo circa 800
mt, sulla destra c'è un piccolo ponticello. Oltrepassato questo
dopo circa 500 mt sulla sinistra si trova il CASALE ACQUAVIVA.

Si raggiunge l'aereoporto di Pisa e si prosegue in auto o in treno.
IN TRENO
Da Nord e da Sud devo scendere alla stazione di Campiglia M.Ma e proseguire
con autobus fino al bivio di Casalappi. La fermata è davanti
all'"Enotaca da Alcide". Proseguire in direzione Casalappi.
Dopo 800 mt sulla destra si trova un ponticello. Oltrepassato questo
a circa 500 mt, sulla sinistra si trova il CASALE ACQUAVIVA.

km from Suvereto, an evocative medieval village with its circuit
of walls still intact, situated but a short distance from the
Etruscan coty of Populonia. Nestles among the foothills, where
the Cornia valley descends from the Colline Metallifere (the
metalbearing hills). Visitors enjoys the relaxed atmosphere
of the streets, alleyways and square that wind through the old
centre of Suvereto. The town Council of SUvereto is part of
the nationwide groups of the Associazione nazionale Città
del Vino, and the Associazione nazionale Città dell'Olio,
the basis for renewed agricultural activity. 1 km from Casale
Acquaviva you find the most famous wine-farm of Europe: Cantina
Petra.
5 km from Populonia, to discover the remains
of the only Etruscan city built directly on
the coast, basing its wealth on the exploitation of the nearby
deposits of iron ore. With a visiting in the Etruscan-museum
you can mint the reproduction of a Medieval coin. A fantastic
bay with fine sand where the blue of the sea mingles with the
green of the woodlands. Passing from the seaside to history!

5 km the eye takes in the Tyrrhenian Sea, the Gulf of
Follonica and, beyond, the island of Elba, 40 km beaches
till Punta-Ala. The local landscape, rich in cork oak, olive
groves and vines, mirrors a local economy rooted in agriculture,
forestry and stock-rearing.
10 km Piombino, governed first by the Appiani
dynasty, and later the Boncompagni-Ludovisi. Between 1796 and
1799 representate of the Prince of Piombino was followed by
the occupation of the Piombinese dominions by the French, and
the subsequent creation of a Napoleonic state. In the early
years of the nineteenth century the rest of the State of Piombino
was granted to Elisa Bonaparte, the sister of Napoleon and wife
of Prince Baciocchi. Important Etruscan-museum to visit in the
old centre of Piombino. Arrival to Elba with the boat in 45
minutes.
5 km Campiglia Marittima, surrounded by hills
that are rich in copper, lead and silver mines, special town
that still preserves and old medieval village. Here you find
the Park San Silvestro, who welcomes you in
its visiting center and museums in a building erected at the
beginning of this century to house the activities connected
with mining. In the near a thermal spring Calidario.
Over 12.000 litres of warm water at 36° centigrade run through
the basin each day. Entry into the waters is directly from the
heated changing rooms by way of an underground passage, wich
also leads to a small cave with a waterfall used for hydro-massage. |
